If any of you reading this go to World OF Dance LA this year please say hello to me and tell me that you read my blogs or look at the art on my website I have linked to this site when you see me in attendance walking around the hip hop dancing convention. I am not to cool to talk to or meet new and interesting people, so do not be afraid about introducing yourself to me. There is not going to be to many white men in attendance in the crowd at the event, especially ones who are 32 with a full beard instead of only 17 years old with no facial hair. White guys are in the minority at the World of Dance hip hop dancing events. So I will not be hard to notice or find in attendance.
You are allowed to film the dancing at the convention that you see. As far as uploading it goes I think everyone is Ok and fine with it, but if you make money like google ad sense money on the video you might from my guess get into trouble of making money on someone else's act that you only filmed and did not perform or direct yourself. It is probably better to play it safe and not make the advertising money on your uploaded videos you do not own the creative content for yourself.
I personally thought that World of Dance San Diego was 1,000 pounds more awesome than Comic Con of this year. I greatly enjoyed myself and had a much more fantastic time at world of dance this October than I had at comic con in July of this year! You just can't compare the two. World of Dance is so much more thrilling and fun to attend. The shopping for collectibles or art books and window shopping for cute girls to meet and talk to might be better at Comic Con but their were a few fairly cute women at World of Dance to that I saw, and the world of dance women if they performed on stage are talented performing artists and not just good looks without having other things interesting about them going on in their life.
The average person is more urban or tough many of them at the hip hop dance concert but unless someone was a hot head with a chip on his shoulder to start with, nobody is going to mess with you. And if they do go get security. Everyone I saw at world of dance loved performing and being part of the community of dancers than out to prove they are the tough ass person to you or anyone else. Hey at comic con they had the guy from Hall H in 2010 who tried to take out another mans eyeball with his click pen over who sat in a seat the strapping young man jock secret closet nerd wanted to fight over. He was just one unstable ticking time bomb about to go off anyways, he was not your typical comic con attendee trying to stab his way to the best seats in the room with a ball point pen. I hope comic con does not let him back or he will for sure go nuts all over again in a future year if he is that kind of crazy inside his head.
